A super easy, clean breakfast I got from the cookbook "Delicious Detox"....and a great way to use up day old brown rice.

I adapted this from a Canadian Living recipe.  It has no added sugar or salt, and with the fruit and nuts, it's filling.  When the fruit is heated as in my suggestion (not original recipe) it's like having cobbler or pie.  My coworkers are always envious of my breakfast.

This is a salad I ate non-stop in France, it's so full of flavor that you don't even think about if it's healthy or not, you just want more!

I realize this is a no-brainer snack, but sometimes when you're really hungry for a yummy snack, it's hard to think of good options.

I really like this one, because if I make it "pretty" I'm more likely to eat it.  Plus, I can share it with the kids!

Buy overripe bananas, break 'em in chunks and freeze til you need 'em.  They serve to sweeten the smoothie - no sugar needed.

The crumb topping is what makes these banana muffins stand apart from the ordinary. They're scrumptious

This is a variation of a favorite recipe for banana bread that was passed down from my Grammy Wile to my mom and then to me. While the original one has always been enjoyed by my family, I recently tweaked it to make it my own.
