Multi-Grain Jewel Cookies
Description
A soft multi-grain cookies with dried fruit
Ingredients
1 egg 1 cup low fat milk 1 1/2 cup dried fruit (raisins, apricotes, cranberries, blueberries, cherries ect.) 1/3 cup ground flax 1 cup brown splenda 1 cup butter or margarine 2 1/2 cup rolled oats 1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour 2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp ground cinnomon 1/3 cup wheat germ
Instructions
Preheat oven 375 F. In a bowel mix egg, milk, dried fruit and flax and set aside. In another bowel mix margarine or butter with brown splenda and set aside. In a large bowel mix the remaining ingredients.
Mix the splenda and magarine or butter mixture to the dry ingredients then add the fruit mixture the the dry ingredients and mix.
Using a tsp drop cookie dough onto a cookies sheet 1 1/2 inch apart and bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Let cool.
