Apples and Cinnamon Brown Rice

Description

A super easy, clean breakfast I got from the cookbook "Delicious Detox"....and a great way to use up day old brown rice.

Ingredients

1 cup cooked brown rice

1 cup almond or rice milk (I like almond)

1 apple, peeled and diced

1/4 cup raw slivered almonds

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp sea salt

Instructions

Put all ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium-low heat for 5 minutes.  Enjoy!!
