I have created a facebook group called Dump the junk Motivation and if anyone is interested in being added please email me and I will make sure it happens. It's a PRIVATE group just to chat and to get and give motivation to others who are on this journey. It's marked private so we can be totally open with our thoughts and beliefs about weight loss and nobody from our "regular" facebook page can see it. So far there are over 70 members (I created it late yesterday afternoon) and they are from everywhere....the US, UK, and from NS to BC. So, if you're interested send me a message on here or directly to my hotmail (staceycarter@hotmail.com ) or look me up on Facebook. I feel the more people we have to encourage each other the better our results will be. :)

Hi LReimer, welcome to the site!! It's too bad that you missed the X-Weighted Connect event but maybe you can see it another time. I am not from Winnipeg but I joined the group because I enjoy helping people who are on their weight loss journey (I was a mentor on the site last year so I just kept going with it after the challenge was over). I am certainly there to answer any questions and to offer any support you need. I can offer advice (I'm studying to be a trainer, not there quite yet, hopefully in June, but I have lost 102 pounds so I can relate to what a lot of people go through while on this journey). I'm new to this site and I didn't even realized it was available. I wanted to go see x-weighted in Winnipeg this weekend but just didnt have time. I'm hoping to be able to loose so weight with this, I live 20 mins. outside Winnipeg and I need help...

Peggyh, so....how did it go? Did you enjoy yourself? Did you get to chat with Paul? I was really nervous the first time I met Paul too. He's pretty cool though and I realize now there was no reason to be nervous at all. :) Do tell us some details!! :)
