Tam tomorrow is another day..hope it goes better for u...

cosmo..do u weigh ur protein or just judge it...I was eating about 4/5 oz per meal..& I thought that was not alot at 1 meal....I would also have protein for breakfast..eggs ,cottage cheese...etc...I have been doing some fruit shakes but putting greek yogury in them..4 tbsp..to fill me up....I am goin to starve if I cut out anymore protein..or I will end up goin back to the bad foods...STARCHES...

Pauls meal plan...its $75 ..any tax..I found out I can buy a visa and put any amount $$ on it...does not have my name on it of course..so would not want to go to bank ..put $75 on it and come home to get the plan and it come to more then that...

I feel soooo depressed today...I had hope that I was goin to get this weight off but now its gone..

Oh man, yesterday was such a terrible day for me. 

My sleep cycle is all messed up from this new job, so I slept right through Zumba class. 

I also almost slept right through a business meeting, so I had to jump out of bed, put on some clothes, brush my teeth and get out.

That meant that I had to do breakfast and coffee on the go, after my meeting. I stopped at Tim Hortons for breakfast, ate a sandwich and a coffee and felt absolutely terrible afterwards.

It feels like everything spiraled out of control after that. I craved junk food all day, ate all kinds of bad stuff... I ate 5 of my emergency chocolates at once. I usually only eat one when  I'm craving something sweet and I'm fine. 

Ugh. I want to know why this happens. If I don't start my day with a solid breakfast, the rest of the day falls to pieces and I can't seem to get control back.

Farmer Eales, yes, I have been on Paul's plan for a year and it's broken into 50% Carbs, 30% protein and 20% fat ratio. That is based on my fitness level per a day.

Hi all....

Tam I am goin to the gym so much cause I am pissed off....I joined Nov. 2011...got a trainer ..3 days a week til middle of Jan.,,,,still no weight loss...asked for help at gym...they said go an extra day...I went 5 days for 8/9 weeks.....that didnt work out...ended up gaining 10 lbs...so just feels like I waisted my $5000.....if I had to rejoin Herbal Magic..I would of had weight off by now..but I thought I would try something that may help keep the weight off..so  my trainer is almost done..what else do I have but the classes...thank goodness I like them or I would be sh1t out of luck and money...

sorry that kinda sounds depressing but that why I am goin so often..would like to get my moneys worth....lol

so I did zumba and trainer this morning..I am bet out..

Karen I ask my sister all the time...is my ass that big...she always say no but yet I feel like it is....wish my closet full of cloths would start to fit me again soon...

well I hope everyone has a great day...sitting in the sun ..so need a tan...lol

Thanks all, I will see someone when I can.  I know I pulled a muscle as I have classic symptoms according to the Internet, and treatment is rest for one or two days, Advil, slow and steady and when healing done then stretching.

The Y offers yoga, since I jumped into exercise too fast I will start yoga as soon as I can.  I believe tight hamstrings on myself is what caused this.

Cosmo.... I AM injured now and it is NOT WORTH IT to do a race that may jeopardise your career as a trainer should you injure yourself.  There will be other races, but right now you are on a fast track to be a trainer and who wants one who wouldn't listen to advice and got severely injured?  I read you may be fine, but what if the worst happened?

Which is more important...the dream of this race or the dream of being an able bodied trainer?

Cosmo: I am stubborn as well and play/ work injured all the time...but...I know a few people who have had this injury (fellow letter-carriers) and its not an easy recovery and could take years. Dont know if its worth the risk as you have so many more wonderful goals ahead of you.

Tam: Great job on the loss. I love being under 200lbs and dont EVER want to go back!

Elizabeth: Definitely get it checked out, better to be safe than sorry. That way too you can confirm your limitations until you heal and can readjust your workouts.

Farmer: i cant believe how active you are. You must be feeling great! Its wonderful you have found things you enjoy doing.

So i want to ask about body perception. Do you all have an accurate perception of yourself?

I ask this b/c this weekend my gf and i were watching a game and a "larger" woman was up at bat. You could see she was somewhat fit but had the tummy and back "extras". I dont know why, but i turned to my gf and asked her if thats what i look like. I said to her that this woman isnt huge, but just bigger and thats how i feel i look when in a group/crowd of other people. She was very surprised that i felt this and assured me that i was nowhere near the size of this woman. Also saying that she sees me as average size overall but looked more fit with my shaply figure (and big boobs, lol). This, of course, surprised me. So why when i look in the mirror do i not see what she sees???

Karen - Great job not drinking any beer or eating bad foods! Wonderful self control there! Make sure that you take a little time to yourself to heal up though!

Cosmo - Wow, I just don't know what to tell you. You obviously really want to run this race, but if you're hurt we don't want it to get worse. If you think that you can do it, I say go for it but if you think you might make it worse, I would say sit this one out. I know how much it sucks to have to do that though. You know your body, and you know how much you can handle :) 

Farmer - Sorry to hear that your new body pump instructor isn't very nice. Sometimes that can really take the fun out of a workout. I hope you can stick to it though, it's so great that you work out so often! I wish I was that motivated. Just haven't found something I like to do much yet.

I did body pump this morning..new girl teaching it...wow she drilled us....was a good work out but she was not friendly...

turns out I have birds in my dryer vent..lol...I hope my bf can fix it when he gets home..

Ok...I need some advice! I have a race scheduled this weekend but have been told by both a dr. and a massage therapist NOT to do it. I am at high risk to blow my achelies (sp?) tendon because for some reason my feet, legs, and hips are tighter then they should be (for those on Facebook with me, it goes further than my stretching issues). If I don't blow it I could still cause more scar tissue making my recovery time a bit longer. But they also said I could run it and be fine. I'm waiting for a confirmed appointment with a sports dr. to see if they can help me. My trainer hinted that I would be ok to run it (wouldn't actually commit to an answer in case I hurt myself) as he knows how competitive I am.  The normal person I would turn to here for advice is injured himself so I don't want to bother him with my issues. I haven't run since last Thursday to give myself some rest (which I never do either) and I still have some burning in my heel so it doesn't seem to matter what I do, the burning is still there.  So what would you guys do?
