So the month of February wasn't so good for me. I had a lot of Doctor's appointments and my birthday fall last month and have now realized I need to plan ahead better. This month I am committing to exercising 5 days a week for 1 hr and if I have an appointment or know that I'm not going to be home a certain day I will exercise on one of my days off on the weekend before to make up for it beforehand and not let myself get off track since I have such a hard time getting back on once I'm off. Overall I am down 13pds since Jan 1 but as far as this challenge is concerned I am down 6. Overall I think I've done well but I know I could've done better and am going to put forth a better effort this month.

I was also wondering if anyone here has tried the 24hr gym on Rothesay Ave I think it's called Spartan Fitness. I am thinking about it since it's only $35/month with no sign up fees or committment term but don't know what the atmosphere is like there(for a fat chicky). If you have any experiences there good or bad would be helpful.

Thanks for reading and I hope everyone has a good week. Jenn

So after completing 180 days of p90x, and p90x plus I've decided to join the gym. Im down 55 pounds, and 22 from this challenge :) Goodlife had a really amazing deal on gym memberships this past week that was way to good to pass up! 19.50 bi-weekly! and no sign up fee of 59.99, and no first and last payments! I'm hoping going to the gym will shock my body a bit, and help shed a few pounds a bit quicker since im switching workouts. P90x and p90x plus was alot of resistance and interval traning, along with dumbells. The program works wonders! But I need a change :) and whats more exciting then new equipment and work out routine!! I hope everyone is doing great and staying on track!!

The weight is coming off at a snail's pace....1 month to lose 1.5 lbs!!! I know I've got to start to consume more veg...that always helps with my hunger so I'm not eating more of the "wrong" foods. I'm expecting a better result next week, but at least the scale is moving in the right direction!

To BJ Antoniuk about safe detox:

The only detox you need to WATER! :) Try going vegan for a day (just fruit and veggies and/or yogurt) and drink your 2L of water, you will naturally flush your system out.
I have found just getting my daily water intake has helped. Hope this finds you well!

Ok, as per WW down 1 lb. I guess I have been learning some new habits. Ok, time to get back at it with full commitment. Working out here I come! Down total of 7 but I am wearing one size smaller so Yayyy.

Slowly is better than Never!!!

Well after a week in Florida I gained 2lbs....the problem is I'm not getting back on track! Been home 3 days and still not getting back to clean eating and working out. Need to get myself back into the routine....has anyone tried "detox" to get back after having a bad week with eating? I'm not interested in harsh laxative detox...but more natural, safe type?

I thought it was just me...I was going strong and loving it and then...nothing for a whole week. Exhausted and migraines, not eating right, no exercise. My scale says I gained a lb, tomorrow is my weigh in day so we'll see but I don't know what happened. Not happy it is happening to others as well but nice to know I am not alone in this "battle". Back on track today with food. Working out tonight so I should be feeling better soon. Hang in there all, we might lose a few skirmishs but we will win the battle!!!

I have to agree with everyone that the weekends are harder ( especially going to 2 sea dogs games it seems so good in there ) However we have been trying really hard to stay on the same routine as we have in the week. And we have started walking harbour passage before every game. Even the kids are starting to enjoy it and its family time together after a busy week.

The hardest thing I have trouble with on the weekend is my water in take right now. During the week I drink between 12 and 15 glasses of water, but on the weekend I dont think about it for some reason.

Had an awesome time meeting some people from the x weighted SJ group and walking the passage it was great. I thought there would have been more people come SJ lets get out and walk.

Hope everyone has a great week. Start fresh and let go of what has happened and get back on track. Its the hardest thing ever but I know we can do and Be a Heathier You !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
