Lot's of support and tools here. Yay, 2010 is our year! Woot!
Slow and steady wins the race. One day at a time, one step at a time one mouthful at a time:)
Hooray for fabulous and fit.

I didn't lose this week either, two birthday parties and no exercise. I am going to get at it this week for sure
I lost nothing this week. Last week was one, the week before nothing. 6lbs off in total, but I know where I'm going wrong. Lack of exercise and few cheats, don't mix well together. Time to get my act together!
hey everyone i am up a lb this week and i'm okay with that..i am and will not be defeated by this. it is just one more obstacle or challenge i have to and WILL overcome on this wonderful journey:) best of luck in week 6
Ladybug, good for you!! I find concentrating on finding a solution to the roadblocks instead of focusing on the negative makes a bid difference in whether you push thru the problem or not. Not giving in to the obstacles is the path to success. I'm proud of you!
thanks islandgirlatheart. you know i had totaly forgot that i actualy have an indoor pool in my apartment complex...anywhoo i'm fealing much better this week. i think alot of it is spychological because i now know that i don't have to go back in for surgery and that it will go back to normal. so i went for a swim today, first excersice activity in two weeks and it felt like an eternity since i did anything. went pretty well i did 4 sets of swiming for 15 minutes and resting for 2 and i kept my heart rate up pretty well the whole time....i've also decided that unless i have an insane amount of heavy groceries, i'm not taking the stairs to my apartment anymore. thats 5 stories every time i come in....so at least once a day...did it today after the pool and i had to stop for a minute at the 3rd floor cause my heart was racing but i'll get there eventualy. i have to because i singed up for the army run in the capital in september and my friend who's in the military is going to do it with me so i have to be in better shape by then.. luckyly the military give's a free 12 week boot camp right before the race to that should help. hope everyone else is doing well....no weight loss for me this week but at least i didn't gain!
Lisa, I had a similiar week last week. I am working out really hard and really pushing myself and the scale said.....the same!!....I stayed on plan, following ww, didn't eat all my activity points and was REALLY disappointed, I guess I watch too much "The Biggest Loser" because I was expecting a huge loss. Anyway, I let it derail me for a couple of days, didn't make any really bad choices and then shook it off and got back too it. My trainer told me when you first start working out really intense quite often you will not lose or show a small gain on the scale. I also realized that I feel so different in my clothes and people are commenting on "all" the weight I've lost (5lbs..lol) so I must be doing something right. Just keep on plan and the scales will eventually even out to an AVERAGE 2 lbs per week. I know this pass week I worked extremely hard and the scale said -1 lb...I said so what...at least it's in the right direction. Hang in their girl, you CAN do this.:)
I haven't had pop in three weeks and I don't really crave it any more. Has anyone else found they no longer HAVE to drink pop?
hey lisa dont get discouraged! in terms of working out do you find yourself doing the same thing over and over again or are you shaking it up? because if you do the same thing over and over again your body will be conditioned to it so you might need to switch it up a bit.
for me personally this challenge is really helping me. i feel more accountable doing it, it's even encouraged me to go to the gym AND get a personal trainer, things i would never have done before.
DON'T GIVE UP!!! feeling down is TEMPORARY GIVING UP makes it PERMANENT
best wishes
i don't get it..
i tracked every bite..worked out 4/6 days this week..this morning's weigh in showed me at..wait for it..drumroll..
up 2.2 lbs.
*can u hear the crickets?*
i'm so devasted and confused. No, its not that time of the month. Yes, I was wearing the same clothes.
the only thing that saved me from an emotional binge? X-Weighted was on with my true inspiration - Gaia. She is so beautiful, strong, and dedicated.
She's probably half my age, but can i be her when i grow up?
How's everyone else doing? Is this challenge working for you and if so why do you think it is?
xo
it is 11:50 am ASt and I haven't had any chips yet...LOL
