I'm in the same boat as you are. Breast feeding will help to lose SOME weight (so they say, but it worked for me).
I don't drive, so I've been walking EVERYWHERE. I do 2 types of walking though (with my mom). Speed or long almost forced strides (you can feel muscles burning this way). and walk for about 60-80 min with the stroller in tow. It's a good way to start.
My mom and I are going to get a community centre gym pass and work on cardio and weights as well as try yoga or Pilates.
Check out your community centres and doctor as they may have info on post-baby exercise classes where you can bring the baby into an environment with other babies and mothers. It's supposed to help heal you, too.
I need to loose 50 pounds, i had a c section 2 months ago and im also breastfeeding. i cant afford to do those fast fad diets, because of that, so im choosing the healthier way and i hope in 6 months i loose more than my goal. i was wondering if anyone has any workout routines they can share. Im very excited
welcome, and I hope you suceed. I think for most women with this goal the most important part is to fit back into the pre-pregnancy pants. And I can definatly see how some fathers can relate to this as I see it with my own husband.
I've read a number of women who have been offended by BLOG posts on Manly food and such. So I am going to interject myself here and say..HEY I"M A GUY WHOSE GAINED WEIGHT TOO BECAUSE OF KIDS! So my goal is to lost my "manly prego fat"
