Why can't I enter the National Challenge?

In order to enter the National Challenge, you needed to have registered on January 9th or 10th, 2010. After these dates you will still be able to create a My X-Weighted account, and access all the features of XWeighted.com, but you will not be able to become a part of the National Challenge.

How can I register for an XWeighted.com account?

You will be able to sign up on the My X-Weighted page starting on Saturday, January 9th

By registering with X-Weighted.com, you'll be able to access the full functionality of the site. Those people that are not registered will only be able to access limited areas of the website – and will not be able to comment or interact with other members.

Can I register if I don't actually want to lose any weight?

Yes. You just need to go through the registration process, then insert a goal weight of 0 pounds.

Do I still need to register online if I attend an event?

Yes, everybody needs to register online. Go to the event and get your measurements, then go home and register online.

When I try to register, why does the page look odd and why can't I input my information?

If you are using an older version of Internet Explorer, the site won't function properly for you. This is easily remedied by downloading the most recent version of Internet Explorer, or Firefox (a different browser software). Then everything should work properly.

Why can't I lose the amount of weight that I want to?

In order to participate in the Challenge, you need to use the goal that our system sets for you. By choosing a different goal, you will not be eligible to participate in the National Challenge. However, once you are in the system you are able to go past your goal and lose more weight (we appreciate that not everyone wants to be at the upper end of the healthy BMI and may prefer to be somewhere in the middle).

Who can see my profile?

If you choose Public Profile for your Membership, all registered community members will have access to EVERYTHING INCLUDING your photos, weight, measurements as well as the ability to read your blog, see what groups you have joined, and view your My X-Weighted Episode.

If you choose Limited Profile then all registered community members will have access to your photos, weight, measurements.   Your blog and your My X-Weighted Episode are not shown to other community members, but your profile is viewable by other members.

If you choose Private Profile then your profile is completely hidden and other members of the community will not be able to view your profile. All they can see is your username.

You can change your privacy level in the Account Settings area of XWeighted.com.

I made a mistake when I was entering my personal information, can I change it?

Yes you can change some information. Click on the link that says account settings (in blue on the top right hand corner of the screen) and you should be able to change your information.

If you wish to delete your account completely and start all over again, send us an email.

However, please note that if you are deleting your account and starting a new one after January 10th 2010, you would not be eligible for the National Challenge. So, please ensure that you have the correct details entered before the end of that day.

I forgot my password, but never heard from XWeighted.com about how to get a new one...

First off, you need to check your junk mail folder. If the e-mail from us is not in there, it may have been filtered by your Internet Service Provider because they thought it was spam (there is an issue because we have  the letter "X"in our e-mail, which unfortunately a lot of adult content spam sites use). We suggest that you add this e-mail address - x-weighted@anaid.com -  to your address book or safe sender list in order for and e-mails to get to you.

When I invited my friends to join my group, they never received an e-mail invite from me...

Please see above, and tell your friends follow our suggestions to ensure that they too receive e-mails from us.

What is the My X-Weighted page?

The My X-Weighted page is your personal home page on XWeighted.com. Here you can track your progress as you enter your weight loss, how much physical activity you have done, how many badges you have earned, view your weight loss and fitness goals and access various other features of the site.

What are Xecute Points?

Xecute Points have been designed with the X-Weighted experts and will give you weekly directions on how to progress on your X-Weighted journey. These Xecute points are your list of items to accomplish each week.  They are an important part of the 26 Week Guide and taking these actions should help you keep on track and ultimately reach your weight-loss goal.

What are Things to Think About?

While taking part in the TV show X-Weighted, participants are often encouraged to reflect on the things that are holding them back from being who they truly want to be. It is important to reflect and think through the issues that affect your health.  Answer these questions as they are an important process, and a very useful tool in your weight-loss journey.

What does the My Stats chart show?

The My Stats chart shows how much weight you have lost and your physical activity levels since starting the Challenge. By clicking on and moving the button below the graphic you’ll be able to see where you are now and your results from previous weeks, presented in an easy to read graph.

What is the Activity Tracker?

The Activity Tracker enables you to input your activity levels. This useful tool will enable you to track the exercise you perform in a week- and whether it's moderate or intense. Use this tool to identify patterns and to track how many minutes of exercise you perform each week - the goal is to increase your time and intensity as you progress through the 26 weeks.  This activity tracker tool will eventually be accessible as an iPhone application.

What does the Shopping List do?

The Shopping List, in the left margin, is a handy function that will allow you to manage your shopping list online.  You can add items you need to pick up, or cross off items you no longer need.  It’s a simple tool, but grocery shopping and meal planning is an essential part of a successful weight loss journey.   This shopping list tool will eventually be accessible as an iPhone application.

What is My Menu Planner?

My Menu Planner is another tool you can use to plan your food for the weeks to come.  Once you fill in your menu for the week online, you will be able to save your plan, print it, e-mail it to a friend or share it on your blog. Having your meals for the week planned out in advance is a really good way to stay on top off your eating habits and make better choices (it also makes it a lot easier when you hit the supermarket if you know what you have to buy for the whole week).

What are the Badges?

Throughout the Challenge you will have opportunities to earn badges. These badges provide a little bit of bling for your My X-Weighted page. There are 4 badges to collect, with each being available at 4 different levels - you can earn a bronze, silver, gold or platinum edition of each badge. Badges are earned for different levels of participation in the 26 Week Guide.

What are the Xtra Readings?

These are blog posts or articles that contain useful information that is pertinent to that particular week of the 26 Week Guide. You simply click on the link to get to the story.
