Ready, Set, Diet - Nicolle and Angela

Angela and Nicolle are wisecracking friends that love to bond over food and martinis. Over the years, their weight problems have increased to the point where both ladies feel that they are being held back both professionally and in their personal lives.

Angela has a fiancé that loves her just the way she is, but she is so self-conscious about her weight, that in the 5 years that they’ve been together, he has never seen her naked. Her schedule is crazy and because she lives an hour away from work, Angela sits for hours every day in her car with only food for company and is too exhausted from the commute to exercise.

Nicolle is a successful radio personality, but hates doing public appearances as she feels people are always judging her because of her girth. Nicolle seeks comfort in cola, chips and chocolate, and finds it hard to fit exercise into her schedule.

In 5 years, Angela’s fiancé, Bruce, has never seen her naked because she is so self-conscious about her size. Bruce wants a beach wedding in the tropics, but right now there’s no way Angela will wear a bathing suit.

As a top local radio announcer, Nicolle seems confident. In reality, she is so self-conscious she shies away from making public appearances. Bouts of depression and toxic relationships made her put on weight, but now that life is good it is time to get healthy.
