Obligation Overwhelm - Michelle

Michelle has a lot on her plate and she is both emotionally and physically exhausted. After the family lost a court battle to get more funding for care for their severely autistic son, Connor, Michelle’s husband had to quit work to care for him. This made Michelle the breadwinner. She also has 2 daughters, so to say life is busy would be an understatement.

Her health is suffering because of her weight. She already has high cholesterol and is borderline diabetic. She is scared that if she doesn’t get healthy she’ll have a heart attack - just like her father did. But her hectic work schedule means that she is in meetings all day, relying on drive-through meals for sustenance and doesn’t get home until 7 or 8 at night, when she has to take over caring for Connor.

With that kind of schedule and the day-to-day stresses of her home life, Michelle just doesn’t know how she’ll make the time to exercise or eat properly. She will do whatever it takes to achieve her goal.

Michelle

As sole breadwinner, with a stressful family life, Michelle hasn’t taken care of herself for a long time. She is obese and borderline diabetic. If she doesn’t get healthy, there’s a good chance her autistic son may need to be institutionalized, and Michelle will do anything to stop that from happening.
