Elyssa and Jenessa
Mike and Estelle have always been “soft” on their kids, never forcing them to eat a vegetable and indulging them with chips, treats and tasty (but unhealthy) meals. Now, both sisters are getting fat and becoming self-conscious about their bodies. Their low self-esteem leads them to lash out at each other, turning their home into a war zone and making their parents miserable.
Meanwhile, Mike tries to placate everyone with delectable (fattening) food that only exacerbates the problem… as well as his own health issues. He is the glue that holds the family together and the kids live in fear that they will lose him due to his weight.
This once happy family has gotten to a point where they don’t like themselves or each other. Their family is about to fracture and Mike’s health is on the line. If things don’t change now, they could lose it all.
