Connor

Connor is a handful. His ADHD symptoms are a constant drain on his parents. His father, Mike, drives a truck so he’s often away and when he returns home his quality time with Connor always involves food.

When Mike battled cancer he used food as a coping mechanism, however, he’s been cancer-free for three and a half years and he still eats whatever he wants: His weight has ballooned.

Connor was emotionally battered by watching his dad fight cancer. He is also gaining weight - becoming the target of bullies and showing signs of depression and more pronounced ADHD. His mom, Jenny, will do anything to set her family on the road to health and wellness.

Connor adores his dad, and eagerly copies Mike's behaviours. He needs his dad to be an active, healthy role model, so that he can become an active, healthy boy. It’s also probable that a better diet will mitigate his ADHD.

Mike is now at the heaviest he’s ever been and Jenny desperately wants to strengthen all of the family relationships by having everyone embrace a healthy lifestyle.
