Chris

Chris is an emotionally vulnerable, overweight and unmotivated teen. After graduating high school a year ago with no plans for the future, his parents let him move into their basement. There he spends most of his time playing video games in their basement, isolating himself socially, eating junk and gaining weight.

After prodding from his parents he found a part-time job as a gas jockey, but that environment is rife with tempting junk food. His family eats out multiple times a week, favouring big portions of fatty, high calorie foods.

Chris wants to lose weight, gain self-confidence, be more active, find a girlfriend and just generally get a life… but his weight and listless existence are holding him back physically and emotionally.

Chris’s parents know that if they don’t make changes to the family’s lifestyle Chris won’t be able to halt the downward spiral he’s entered. He’s gained approximately 30 pounds since graduation and seems to have no direction or motivation to make something of his life. If he doesn’t dig deep and find his passion now, there’s a chance that he’ll stay stuck forever.
