Weigh-in reminder

Just wanted to remind everyone that weigh-in for week 4 starts Sunday at 12.00 EST. To stay in the Challenge, and be eligible for the prizes, you need to weigh-in for week 3 before then.

so i emailed the lovely folks at x weighted, as when i weighed in, i put the wrong weight in.. i read somewhere that they will fix it?? I havent received an email, and it hasnt happened on my page.. kinda discouraging!!

I hope you count even though you don't put your weight down by noon....I weigh myself sunday mornings but I'm usually so busy until I get to crawl in bed usually 8:30 or 9 is usually the time I get to sit down and blog for the day...it would really suck if you can't qualify for the prizes if you don't do weigh in by noon that really sucks because alot of people don't enter their weight till monday :(...I hope thats wrong

I weighed in again at 260, because I don't know actual weight in lbs., using the wii fit as my guide, started at BMI of 38.02, next week,37.76, this week 37.22. says weight was 111.5k which by my account, 1k=2.4lbs, I am 267.6 (oh god) so I was obviously more than 260 when I started. All I know is I am exercising my ass off, eating less, and seeing very slow progress!! but progress none the less! I am off to the sunny Dominican for a week, I will exercise there, and hopefully won't put any weight back on.
Any nutritional suggestions to relieve the soreness in muscles, that lactic acid build-up.

I went to the Dominican last year for 2 week. Our room was so far away from everything, we walked all the time, never took the trolly bus. I lost 5 lbs the 1st week. Who does that in an all-inclusive. Bring a pedometer and have a goal to get 10, 000 steps in a day, if you want a drink, which u will, then you have to walk an extra 300 steps or so.it amazing how much you can walk there. good luck.

thank you everone for your replys.I will keep at it, I just think after being so good all week both food and excerise, that there should be a reward at the end of the week, when u weigh in.Hopefully next week, I will see a bigger loss.

Isabella is right... some weeks you will see a drop in weight and some weeks none at all. Even if you don't drop any weight you might of lost some inches. Thats how i've been... I lost 7 pounds within the first two weeks then this week I weighed myself and I lost nothing. I think i know why I didn't loose anything as i went out for birthday celebrations 3 times last week. lol

Good so far - 10 lbs lost 3.3 average per week - just remember 80% is diet 20% is exercise - you need to eat fat to lose fat - HEALTHY FATS - you need carbs but HEALTHY CARBS - You should eat protein with every meal/snack. Lots of water, watch your portions, eat every 3 hours and take your vitamins.

So now do you have to have your weigh in recorded before noon on Sunday? I thought it was Monday? If its late does that remove you from the challenge?

I am on track, i am supose to lose 1.2 lbs per week, and that is what I am doing> But some thing is wrong i think, and would like some imput. I have been excercising 6-7 days a week 2-3 hrs a day. and counting my calories, staying at 100 the 1st week, then 1550 then next week( xecept 2 bad days ) then 1400 this week. no bad days. I should of lost more.

Sometimes our bodies just don't keep up with our schedule of weight loss. After a few more weeks you'll look back and see that you have averaged about what you thought you would. I have weeks where I've been perfectly on plan with food and exercise and haven't lost an ounce but the week later I'll drop a couple of pounds. Don't become discouraged. Keep on plan and you'll see results.
