Ten Great Fitness Dates
Doing an activity with your partner is a great way to inject some pizzazz in to your relationship, and help you to stay motivated to reach your fitness goals together. Doing something fun, and different, will give you a common ground to talk about and explore together. So forget dinner and a movie, get out there and do something more active. Here are ten ideas for dates with a fitness focus.

1) Snowshoeing
Making trails through fresh snow together can be terribly romantic, and as far as winter sports go, snowshoeing is pretty easy going. You can rent snowshoes at most ski hills and many offer guided tours.
2) Take a hike
Walking along the beach, through a forest trail or anywhere beautiful is a great way to spend time together. You'll have time to talk, and dream, as you trek.
3) Play Frisbee golf
Many municipal parks have Frisbee golf courses set up where you can play for free. Depending on your skill level, playing can either be competitive and fun, or just side-splittingly funny, as you watch each other try and get the disc in to the chain mail goal.
4) Hit the local pitch and putt
You don't have to be a golf pro to enjoy yourself at the local pitch and putt or mini-golf course.
5) Go for a ride
Get on your bikes and ride off in to the sunset. Set off for a cool destination and enjoy spending the time making your way there.
6) Take a class together
Whether the idea of doing a tango together is a turn on, or you'd love to learn how to kick your lover's butt in karate, taking a class together could be a whole lot of fun.
7) Indoor rock climbing
This is a real bonding activity, as you'll need to help each other stay safe and advance up the climbing wall.
8) Hit the club
Take your honey out dancing. You'll be in close physical contact all night, focusing only on each other as you burn calories.
9) Rollerblading
This is an especially fun date if one of you isn't very good on skates and has to cling tight to their partner for support!
10) Go play raquetball/ tennis/ badminton
Any game where you are playing against each other is fun and can be very sexy! Book an hour on a court and let the sparks fly along with the shuttlecocks!
This post is a repeat, but look forward to more original content to come in the future.

Yes....but!!!
Any suggestions on family activities you can do with the kids and also incorporate exercise. Alot of the ones mentioned here are great but maybe not for those who need to take the kids
I keep trying to get my honey
I keep trying to get my honey involved but he is just not into fitness. He is healthy enough, but it would be fun to do some of my activities with him.
Frisbee Golf
I love frisbee golf, even though I'm terrible at it, and innocent bystanders usually end up injured!
All the more reason to do it!
All the more reason to do it! Just Kidding! :D
snow shoeing

Matching comfort or lack of comfort levels
It can be challenge to find an activity where there is not an embarrassment factor for one. Activities with different skill levels have to allow both to work together. A fitness date is a great idea.
The punching bag
We just hung a heavy bag inthe unfinished portion of our basement - we have gloves - mine are pink - his are red - I think it is going to be fun. We also have a wii so we often will have a tennis, boxing or bowling tounie - golf sometimes too-just got a big game hunter package - not as much movement but yu have to stand up to aim
My husband recently put up a
My husband recently put up a large punching bag up in the basement....we have a lot of fun sparring back and forth and taking turns holding the bag for eachother. He also put up a chinup bar, which is a lot of fun - he has to help me pull myself up and I like to challenge him to completing 20 reps!!
Aquafit
My wife and I go to an Aquafit class together every Saturday morning followed by a big breakfast at the restaurant. This gives us a great opportunity to do three things together in one date:
1. get fit;
2. spend time together; and
3. have those necessary chats about the household and the kids (without the kids around).
Those of you who have doubts that Aquafit isn't much of a workout should try it; you'll probably feel exhausted after your first class like I did. This is great exercise!
