Fun Father's day Activities

huikeThis father's day, take a break from the norm and get out there and do something physical together. Not only will your family have a lot of fun, but doing something physical together will be a great bonding experience. Here are some ideas of activities to do with dad:

The Amazing Hunt

If you live in or around Vancouver, there's a fantastic activity happening on June 19th. The AMAZING HUNT is welcoming families of 4 to participate in a unique, interesting and exciting family-bonding adventure. Your family will get to travel on foot and navigate through the streets, encounter activities and overcome challenges in this exhilarating quest, all while burning calories!

It's $35 per person ($140 per family) and it takes place on June 19th, 2010. Sign up today to get your spot!  

A Geocaching Extravaganza

Families in Woodbridge, ON, can participate in the Golden Horseshoe Geocaching Club's Weekend Geofest (happening on Saturday June 19th and Sunday June 20th). Admission is free, and there are 20 themed geocaches to challenge families of all levels. There will be a BBQ and various nature demonstrations put on by the Kortright Centre for Conservation.  

Father's day Geocaching Treasure Hunt

In Ottawa, you can also go geocaching with dad. At Pinhey's Point Historic Site, there will be a BBQ and special geocaching event for father's day. This is happening on June 20th and will be free to attend. 

Run for Prostate Cancer

At various cities all across Canada, you and your family can take part in the 2010 Father's Day Walk/ Run for Prostate Cancer. Not only will you spend quality time with dad, but you'll get to raise awareness (and money) for a worthy cause.
