Everything X-Weighted

Hello there!

Well, here we are entering week 3 of X-Weighted Families. From all the feedback we are getting, it is obvious that the show is creating quite an impact. This week's episode, about 13-year-old Daniel is pretty intense, check the blog tomorrow for a posting about diet and ADD/ADHD - one of the issues that comes up in the episode.

X-Weighted is still looking for participants for our next season. If you are sick of living an unhealthy lifestyle and want to make positive changes, have children between the ages of 8 and 17, and live in (or within an hour’s drive of) VANCOUVER, CALGARY, or KELOWNA, we want to hear from you! New X-Weighted episodes will be airing at the following times every Thursday:  9am, 3pm and 8pm ET, and then repeated on Sundays at 9am, 6pm and 11pm ET.

No worries if you miss the new episode, because you can also watch it online on Slice. You can also watch all of season 2 and 3 on Slice's video player, so you can re-watch your favourite old episodes too.

This week, we've added follow-ups from season 3: Debbi and Kristen. Both ladies have managed to stay trim, and are doing great - which is what we love to hear when we check in with our past participants! We have lots more great follow-ups to come, and will continue to upload a couple every Thursday. 

The producers of X-Weighted, Anaid Productions, are delighted to have been honoured with a Gemini Award for season 3 of the show. This is the second year running that X-Weighted has been recognized with a Gemini Award for Best General/ Human Interest Series. Executive Producer, Margaret Mardirossian says that it has been a privilege to document the unique and compelling stories of all the couragous participants, who open their homes and hearts to our crew and viewers.
